Teich AG
HARBOR intelligence provides this Austrian producer with market intelligence and hedging strategies for the aluminum market.

Standard & Chartered Bank
HARBOR intelligence analyzed the relevant sectors in the Mexican economy for this London based bank, in order to evaluate the credit risk of S&CB clients, as well as to evaluate growth opportunities for further credit allocation. We rated the attractiveness of the economy main sectors from “high risk” to “low risk” (5 rates in all). We developed an in-depth analysis of the external, internal, structural, and social demographic factors that fuel growth in each sector.

Anfacer
HARBOR intelligence collaborates with the Mexican Beer Producers Association (ANFACER), developing studies regarding the government imposed special tax impact over beer demand in Mexico. Our studies have helped ANFACER to measure the impact of the imposed taxes over beer demand and imports (competition of foreign products). Many of our studies have served as evidence in Mexican Congress hearings in order to negotiate fair tax rates for the beer industry.

Cancero
We developed a study for the New Markets Development Committee of the Mexican Iron and Steel Chamber (Canacero) about the future of steel applications and usage in the construction sector. We generated first hand information through strategic surveys and interviews to key decision takers in materials usage in the construction industry (government projects, private construction and housing developments). We also developed a cost-benefit analysis of steel vs. other materials (cement, aluminum, copper plastic and others. We suggested strategies for increasing steel usage in a wide variety of applications.

Cemex
We designed a study to measure the impact of the Fiscal Reform over cement demand in Mexico. We identified the main fiscal criteria that could impact cement demand and measure its impact on the companies demand.

Seguros Monterrey New York Life
We develop a monthly gazette for Seguros Monterrey New York Life (SMNY Life) titled: Sign: Opportunity and Wealth (edited in spanish). This gazette is distributed to all of SMNY Life insurance advisors throughout Mexico. Sign, helps insurance advisors to gain a fresh approach of the economic outlook and insurance business as well as its growth opportunities. Additionally, we provide SMNY Life with periodical conferences and seminars to equip its sales force across Mexico.

Gamesa Frito-Lay
HARBOR intelligence developed forecast models for each of the main product lines of Gamesa (Mexico´s largest biscuit brand). Our forecasts consider a wide variety of economic and market variables that help Gamesa to forecast the future of biscuit demand.

Grupo Inversiones Monterrey
HARBOR intelligence developed a detailed and profound study on the recent transformation of the Mexican financial system. Once we analyzed all main financial intermediaries in Mexico (from banks, to investment and retirements funds), we identified some of the financial intermediaries that have shown the most dynamic growth and dynamism in recent years as well as projected its medium and long term growth potential.
